About Andrea

I’m an illustrator, painter, whose work has found a home in anything handmade.

I love experimenting with traditional materials and use an array of media on anything I can possibly illustrate I apply the irish language in most of my arts and crafts to express my gratitude for this community that embraced me so dearly.

Developing my style has and will be a career-long journey for me, however, my love for color composition and naive art have always been a constant perhaps influences of my south american roots. 

I was born in Sao Paulo/Brazil where I received a degree in Graphic Design at Fundacao Armando Alvares Penteado College and diploma in Fine Arts at Escola Panamericana de Arte. 

My acrylic paintings are inspired by my love of home, community and everyday life in the West of Ireland, as well as more whimisical themes. 

My husband and I have two precious children and we love living in Connemara.

When I’m not making art I love swimming, whatching movies, playing board games, hosting dinner parties and trying to be a better human.
